The photovoltaic (PV) park comprised 10,040 solar panels, expected to generate enough power to meet annual demand of about 960 local households, avoiding around 1,640 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per year.
The solar park will be operated by GK JRE Hasakikita and selling its output to TEPCO Energy Partner Inc, a unit of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc.
