SB Energy, Mitsubishi UFJ to put online the 7.5-MW Softbank Akita Kotooka in Japan

SB Energy Corp has announces that its 7.5 MW Softbank Akita Kotooka Wind Farm developed in partnership with a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance will be put online on September 1, 2019. The wind farm is located in Kotooka city, Akita prefecture.

The wind park consists of three 2.5-MW wind turbines and covers an area of 3.7 hectares (9.1 acres) and be able to produce some 17.33 million MWh per year, enough to meet the annual demand of 4,800 local households. 

The Softbank Akita Kotooka Wind Farm will be managed by a special purpose company (SPC) named Akita Kotooka Wind Farm GK and formed by SB Energy and MUL Energy Investment Co Ltd.
