Ilmatar is planning to build a 40 MWp solar photovoltaic project located in the area of Ortenoja, municipality of Pöytyä in western Finland.
The project is designed to generate up to 40 GWh of clean energy per year once it starts commercial operation with a target commissioning in early 2024. Once the investment decision is completed, Ilmatar will build the solar farm and will retain ownership for the entirety of the project for up to forty years.
Ilmatar has been developing the project with its partner network. The company plans to apply for the permits required to build the solar farm and to complete any necessary investigations into the matter.
