NTR PLC has selected Epsiline's WindEagle solution to be deployed on all its wind projects in Europe, specifically in Ireland, the UK, Italy, Sweden, and Finland in order to monitor and optimize the entire fleet. The decision comes after a successful proof of concept testing in France and Ireland, which confirmed the equipment's high potential value and Epsiline's analytical capacity.
WindEagle solution uses laser-based IoT sensors which provide wind speed, wind direction, and turbulence intensity data measured in front of the blades. Thus, there is no induced error from blade turbulence. These independent measures provide wind turbine productivity improvement, enhanced monitoring, and asset life preservation.
EPSILINE will supply and install LiDAR, combine WindEagle data with SCADA data, analyze and report on wind turbine campaigns, and monitor improvements on all NTR PLC locations.
