Allied Irish Banks (AIB) and NTR have signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) for the purchase of energy from two solar projects that NTR will develop in County Wexford, Ireland.
The combined output of the two solar farms at Enniscorthy and Gorey will be 21.4 GWh of new renewable energy. This will deliver up to 80% of AIB Group's electricity demand to operate its retail and office network of over 270 locations, while also providing additional generation capacity to the national grid.
The transaction guarantees AIB a secue and sustainable energy supply for 15 years.
