MSD Ireland and ESB have announced the launch of a 7.3 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project located at Ballydine, Co Tipperary, Ireland.
MSD, in collaboration with ESB's Smart Energy Services, has constructed the solar PV array to support its Ballydine site in reducing its carbon footprint, in accordance with MSD's climate targets. It is expected that the system will produce around 7.9 GWh of clean, renewable electricity for the MSD site, ensuring that up to 20% of the site's energy needs are now met by renewable energy sources.
