Ørsted completes acquisition of 65 MW Ballinrea solar PV project in Cork

Ørsted has completed the acquisition of a 65 MW Ballinrea solar photovoltaic project located in Cork, Ireland from renewable energy developer Terra Solar.

The project is expected to generate enough power for up to 16,000 Irish homes once operational. The plant is targeted for commissioning between 2022 and 2028.
