Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) will collaborate with Windlab to construct the North Queensland Super Hub, which will include more than 10 GW of wind and solar energy in Australia over the next decade to facilitate the large-scale production of green hydrogen.

The initial phase of the proposed project will focus on the construction of the 800 MW Prairie Wind Farm and a second 1,000 MW project. Subject to approvals, construction of the first phase is scheduled to commence in 2025.
