Vena Energy has reached financial close on the first phase of the 125 MW Wandoan South Solar Project located in the local government area of Western Downs, Queensland, Australia. The PV farm will be capable of providing up to 365 GWh of electricity annually, which is sufficient to power about 60,000 Australian residences of average size.
The partner banks DBS, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, OCBC Bank, and SMBC of Vena Energy have agreed to offer loan and ancillary facilities for the project.
DBS served as the Joint-Green Structuring Bank, Financial Model Coordinator, and Facility Agent, Intesa Sanpaolo as the Joint-Green Bank, and SMBC as the Technical Coordinator and Project Account Bank.
