Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobras) is the Brazilian government body responsible for the generation and distribution of electric power.
The largest Brazilian electric power generation company, with a generating capacity equivalent to about 1/3 of the country's total installed capacity.
Over 90% of their installed capacity comes from sources with low greenhouse gas emissions. They aim to be among the three largest global clean energy companies by 2030.
Leading company in electric power transmission in Brazil, with almost half of the country's total transmission lines in its basic network, in high and extra-high voltage.
