Eletrobras divests stakes in 843 MW Brazillian wind assets

Eletrobras is set to divest equity interests in 843.33 MW of wind power assets and 586 km of transmission lines.

The purpose of the transaction is to complete the disposal of the remaining equity interests in the auction which took place on September 27, 2018, and is linked to the Business and Management Master Plan (PDNG 2019/2023) - Sustainable Excellence.

Certain equity interests in SPEs were transferred to the holding company in accordance with criteria established by this Parent Company regarding the purpose of the SPEs.

Specifically, the sale includes 39 special purpose companies (SPEs) divided into six lots - five for wind and one for the transmission lines.

Lot 1: Santa Vitoria do Palmar Holding (Wind), 258 MW
Lot 2: Eolica Hermenegildo I, II, III and Eolica Chui IX (Wind), 181 MW
Lot 3: Chapada do Piaui I Holding (Wind), 205.1 MW
Lot 4: Chapada do Piaui II Holding (Wind), 172.40 MW
Lot 5: Eolica Mangue Seco 2 Geradora e Comercializadora de Energia Eletrica (Wind), 26 MW
Lot 6: Manaus Transmissora de Energia (Transmission)
