Company description
Akuo Energy is one of France’s leading independent producers of renewable energy, and at the end of 2014, it had 527 MW of capacity in operation and under construction. The group was founded in 2007 and is 80%-owned by its co-founders. Its revenue comes from the power generation facilities that the firm develops in-house and then operates. Akuo Energy is an integrated player covering the entire value chain, developing and financing projects, and building, operating and managing the assets. In 2014, Akuo Energy’s total billings came to EUR112 million (US$120 million) from sales of green electricity and thermal energy.
