Developers inaugurate 336 MW wind project in USA

Taaleri Energia, AIP Management, and Akuo have announced the launching of the 336 MW Escalade wind project in Truscott,Texas, USA.

AIP investors jointly hold a 35% equity stake alongside Taaleri Energia, Taaleri SolarWind II, Ilmarinen and Akuo Energy. In addition, AIP investors have also provided a term loan to the project. 

The US$180 million facility consists of 65 turbines split into 20 Vestas V150 and 45 Vestas V162 turbines. They have a wide range of standard hub heights and modes of operation that can be combined with a list of technology options to make solutions that are tailored to each project's needs. It is estimated to provide renewable electricity to 275,000 households every year.
