Akuo has finalized the financing for two floating solar photovoltaic (PV) projects located in southwestern France: 8.5 MWp at Cintegabelle in Haute-Garonne and 10.8 MWp at Gouts in the Landes.
The projects are financed by Credit Mutuel Arkea, Caisse d'Epargne Aquitaine Poitou-Charentes, Helia Conseil, and MAIF Transition. Under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA), Plum Energie will buy the projects' production.
Akuo Energy is one of France’s leading independent producer of renewable energy, and at the end of 2014 it had 527 MW of capacity in operation and under construction. The group was founded in 2007 and is 80%-owned by its co-founders.
