Renault and Voltalia have signed a 15-year solar power supply agreement to support Renault's shift to cleaner energy. Renault is in the midst of decarbonizing its manufacturing facilities as it transitions to greener energy.
The deal covers 350 MW and will allow Renault to cover up to 50% of its electricity demand in France until 2027.
Voltalia proposes to install 100 MW of photovoltaic (PV) panels at Renault's plants beginning in 2025, and will grow the capacity over the subsequent years, reaching 350 MW by 2027.
