Commerz Real, through its impact fund Klimavest, has completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in the 169 MW renewable energy portfolio located in France.
The portfolio consists of nine wind projects and a solar photovoltaic plant installed between the metropolitan areas of Montpellier and Toulouse, south of France. Commerz Real has closed the deal with a fund managed by Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers.
The projects involved in the transaction have been put into operation between 2016 and 2021 and benefit from 15 or 20-year national inflation-indexed feed-in tariffs.
