Akuo has started the commercial operation of its three wind farm projects in Northern Poland with a combined capacity of 132 MW.
Located in Silesian Voivodeship and Pomeranian region, the three projects are the 66 MW Wielowies wind project, the 44 MW EP44 wind farm, and the 22 MW Gniew wind farm. The projects have secured contracts for difference (CfD) government support in a tender conducted in late 2018.
Vestas has supplied turbines to the wind facilities. Akuo has secured financial close through the support of Eurofideme 4, a fund managed by Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers.
