PGE and Orsted have selected Societe Generale SA to serve as advisor in obtaining financing for the two-phase 2500 MW Baltica offshore wind project.
PGE named Société Générale as the winner of the competitive tender. The winning bid was PLN8.5 million (US$2.2 million).
Orsted and PGE Baltica will jointly develop, build and operate the Baltica offshore wind farm which will occupy a similar amount of space as the city of Warsaw, when operational.
