X-Elio has obtained preliminary planning consent for its 386 MW Lorca solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Murcia, Spain. The company will then secure municipal licenses.
During the first year of operation, the EUR270 million (US$286.2 million) PV park is anticipated to generate 748,000 MWh, or enough energy to power approximately 215,000 houses. X-Elio anticipates that construction will begin by the end of 2023.
