RWE has started the commercial operation of the 44 MW Casa Valdes ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) facility located in the city of Guadalajara in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
The solar farm consists of 97,740 bifacial modules installed on about 97 hectares of land area. The project is expected to supply clean energy to about 30,000 Spanish homes.
