Total Eren SA has submitted an environmental impact statement (EIS) on behalf of project company TS3 SpA, for the development of the 150 MW Santa Isabel II solar photovoltaic farm in Antofagasta region of Chile.

TS3 SpA has acquired Santa Isabel II from TSGF SpA, a company composed of SunPower Corp and France's Total SA that has secured an approval to develop the three-stages 408 MW Santa Isabel solar photovoltaic project in Antofagasta in 2017.

The Santa Isabel II solar project will be independently built, operated and owned from the original project. It is expected to require about US$200 million of investment and up to 356,000 solar panels to be installed in the commune of Maria Elena.
