The Japanese company affiliated with Softbank Group, SB Energy Corp, is set to build the 3.1 MW Softbank Tomakomai Akenokita Solar Park in the Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.
The facility covers an area of about 6 hectares in Tomakomai City and produces up to 3.8 million kWh a year.
The solar panels and PV inverter to be used will be coming from Jinko Solar Co Ltd and Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, respectively. SB Energy will provide EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services for the plant. The FIT tariff set for the plant is JPY21/kWh (US$0.193/kWh).
