Smart Solar begins operation at 2.4 MW solar PV project in Japan

Smart Solar Corp announced that it has started the operation of 2.4 MW Kami solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Miyagi prefecture, Japan.

The project is comprised of 7,707 high-efficiency solar modules which generate about 2,317 MWh of electricity per year, meeting the demand of about 724 local households. The plant can offset 1,286.1 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
