JXTG Nippon will build its 2nd solar project in Saitama

JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corp., a solar company that had spread over 18 locations throughout Japan, proposes to build its 2nd photovoltaic plant in the same prefecture in Saitama.

The solar project is called the Okabe Mega solar power plant. The project will be located in a 15,000 sqm. area in Fukuya, Japan. The project will have a capacity of 1.4 MW.

The project is expected to commence its operations at the end of the 1st quarter in 2019. The facility will be selling the output to TEPCO Energy Partner Inc.
