Ichigo Inc, a real estate investor based in Japan, started the operations of the 1.48 MW Ichigo Itoshima Iwara ECO Power Plant. The project is located in Fukuoka prefecture, on an area of 58,743 m2.
The project comprises a total 4,720 photovoltaic solar panels. It will be able to produce more than 1.647 million kWh of renewable energy per year to supply 450 households.
Ichigo's operational portfolio now reaches 113.06 MW with the addition of the Ichigo Itoshima Iwara ECO Power Plant. Including the projects in development stage, the company has portfolio of 49 solar plants with for total capacity of 152.09 MW.
