Saint-Gobain has inked a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with TotalEnergies for the sale of solar photovoltaic power to support its 145 industrial sites in North America (United States and Canada).
This 200 MW PPA is expected to offset Saint-Gobain’s North American carbon emissions from electricity by 210,000 Metric Tons per year, a reduction of around 33%. The agreement is expected to start at the end of 2024.
