Plug, Olin Corporation partner for 15-ton-per-day hydrogen project in Louisiana

Plug Power Inc. and Olin Corporation have created a joint venture to build the 15-ton-per-day Hidrogenii hydrogen plant located in St. Gabriel, Louisiana, USA.

Plug will sell the joint venture's hydrogen exclusively and offer logistical support for distribution, while Olin will provide a stable supply of hydrogen and operating experience.

The plant will be subsidized by state and local taxes. The construction will generate 160 and 215 jobs in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
