Global Infrastructure Partners has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Atlas Renewable Energy from Actis.
Founded in 2016 with the support of Actis, Atlas is the second largest independent renewables developer in Latin America with 14 fully contracted solar assets that produce 2.3GW of installed capacity, across Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay.
Through its unique product, scalable regional presence, and solid pre-existing relationships with consumers in the region, Atlas is well-positioned to assist the increased demand for renewable energy generation.
