Greenbacker buys 3.9 MWdc solar PV project in Virginia

Sun Tribe Development has sold the 3.9 MWdc Wood Brothers Road Solar in Virginia, USA to Greenbacker Capital Management through an affiliated investment vehicle.

The solar farm is linked to a long-term power purchase agreement with an investment-grade utility. The facility will sell energy, capacity, ancillary services, and renewable energy credits.

The Wood Brothers Road Solar farm is scheduled to begin commercial operation in the first half of 2024.
