EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) has started the construction of its 202 MW Crossroads II wind farm project located in White County, Indiana, USA.

In March 2021, EDPR has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) and a Build & Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Northern Indiana Public Service Company, LLC (NIPSCO), a subsidiary of NiSource Inc., for the development of the project. The BTA will allow for the development of the project in White County with NIPSCO entering into a joint venture once the construction is completed.

The project is targeted for operation in 2023 and is expected to generate an annual power the equivalent of more than 54,000 average Indiana homes.
