Nordex SE has secured an order to supply wind turbines to the 48 MW Ljungbyholm wind project located near the town of Kalmar, southern Sweden.
Nordex will be supplying 12 units of N149/4.0-4.5 machines with a 30-year premium service agreement. The construction of the project is expected to start before the end of 2020, while the installation of the turbine is scheduled to start early in 2020.
Early this month, the 48 MW Ljungbyholm wind project was purchased by Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc (ORIT) from OX2.
OX2 and Kanonaden will be responsible for constructing the wind farm which is planned to be commissioned in summer 2021 and expected to produce approximately 150 GWh per year. E.ON will be in charge to grid connection of the project.
