Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc (ORIT) has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement with an unnamed off-taker for the energy output of the 48 MW Ljungbyholm wind farm in Sweden.
Located in Kalmar, Sweden, the project has entered commercial operation in June 2021. The onshore wind farm consists of 12 turbines supplied by Nordex SE. The PPA is signed with a global manufacturer that is a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. Under the agreement, the wind farm will provide electricity for the company's operations in Sweden, contributing to its plan of switching to 100% renewable energy by 2030.
