Commerz Real has terminated the share purchase agreement with Eolus Vind AB for the 68 MW portfolio of three wind farms in Sweden.
The agreement was canceled after the conditions for the transaction were not fulfilled. The authorities have not granted sufficient permits in time to meet the long-stop date in the agreement between Eolus and Commerz Real. Eolus will pay a termination fee of EUR200,000 (US$232,850) to Commerz Real.
The three projects included in the deal are the 18 MW Rosenskog wind farm, the 26 MW Dallebo wind project, and the 24 MW Boarp wind project. The wind farms have secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) for the generated power.
