BayWa r.e. starts operation of 95 MW Lyngsåsa wind project in Kronoberg

BayWa r.e. has started the commercial operation of its 94.6 MW Lyngsåsa wind farm project located in Kronoberg County, Southern Sweden. 

Consisting of 22 Vestas V150 turbines, the wind farm will supply the equivalent of 80,000 European households with electricity while saving 93,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. 

BayWa r.e. sold the Lyngsåsa wind project in 2019 to the sustainable infrastructure investor, SUSI Partners, which has secured a long-term PPA for the project.
