BayWa r.e. has started the commercial operation of its 94.6 MW Lyngsåsa wind farm project located in Kronoberg County, Southern Sweden.
Consisting of 22 Vestas V150 turbines, the wind farm will supply the equivalent of 80,000 European households with electricity while saving 93,000 tons of CO2 emissions each year.
BayWa r.e. sold the Lyngsåsa wind project in 2019 to the sustainable infrastructure investor, SUSI Partners, which has secured a long-term PPA for the project.
Centrica Energy Trading has signed three power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Taaleri Energia for output from three operational wind farms in Finland and Sweden with a total capacity of 266.4 MW.
