OX2 has agreed to acquire from Vattenfall the rights to build the Klevberget wind farm in the municipality of Ånge, Västernorrland County, Sweden.
Under the agreement, OX2 will acquire 100 percent of the project from Vattenfall. The wind farm holds a legally binding permit and has an estimated capacity of approximately 150 MW composed of up to 35 turbines with a height not exceeding 200 m.
A group of local landowners initially developed the project until 2018, when the necessary permit was obtained. After that Vattenfall took charge of the project, refining it further, for example with regards to grid concessions, detailed planning, and complementary inventories.
