Nordex Group has been awarded a turbine supply contract by Belgian wind operator, Aspiravi, for the development of its four wind projects across two regions in Belgium with a combined capacity of 43.2 MW.
The projects are the 18 MW Saint Ode, 7 MW Fernelmont, and 7.2 MW Perwez wind farms located in Wallonia and the 10.8 MW Ninove – Denderleeuw – Aalst wind farm in Flanders. Saint Ode project consists of five N131/3600 wind turbines while the Fernelmont and Perwez wind farms each consist of two N117/3600 turbines.
The delivery and installation work is expected to start in the summer of 2023 with the first turbine in the four wind farms starting operation at the end of 2023. The turbine supply contract also covers a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 20 years.
