Plug Power Inc has entered into a 30-year concession agreement to build and operate a 100 MW hydrogen electrolyzer plant that will be located at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Belgium.
Using its own electrolyzer and liquefaction technology, Plug Power will install the facility on 28 acres of land leased under the agreement to produce about 12,500 tonnes of liquid and gaseous green hydrogen annually.
The construction of the project is expected to start by late 2023 with the target commissioning of the plant in 2025.
