Masdar has signed an agreement to further develop 3 GW of renewable energy projects in Angola and Uganda. By 2030, the company intended to deliver 100 GW of clean energy worldwide.
Masdar will install 2 GW of renewable energy projects in Angola and 1 GW of greenfield renewable energy facilities in Uganda.
On the other hand, Masdar and Zesco signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a collaborative development agreement to build 2 GW of solar photovoltaics in Zambia.
