The Lenzing Group has signed a 20-year power supply agreement with Enery and Energie Steiermark for a 5.5 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project located in the region of Styria, Austria.
Following commission in Q4 of 2023, the solar farm will supply power to the fiber and pulp plant on the Lenzing site. The project's 5.5 MWp output will meet the average annual electricity demand of more than 1,700 homes.
