Palisade Investment Partners Ltd and Aware Super Pty Ltd will acquire a 49% stake in the 528 MW Stockyard Hill wind project in the Australian state of Victoria from Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co Ltd.
The wind farm comprises of 149 Goldwind turbines which generate enough electricity for about 425,000 local homes. It reached commercial operation in September 2022.
Goldwind will retain a 51% stake in the wind park and will provide long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services. The projected closing date for the transaction is January 2023.
