The Office of Hydrogen Power South Australia has launched a Request for Proposal (RfP) for the development of a green hydrogen production plant and power plant located in Whyalla City, South Australia.
The RfP seeks proposals for the delivery of 250 MW of hydrogen production, 200 MW of hydrogen-powered generation, and supporting hydrogen storage infrastructure with 3,600 tons of hydrogen capacity, to be owned and operated by the South Australian government, on land identified in the Whyalla City Council region, constructed and operating by the end of 2025.
The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on February 21, 2023.
