Enviromena has started commercial operation of its 25.4 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Winchester, Hampshire, UK.
Named as 'Three Maids project', the solar farm consists of 47,088 bifacial modules installed on about 110 acres of land. Enviromena secured the planning approval for the project in the summer of 2021 and commenced the construction afterward.
The project is now connected to the grid and provides clean energy to approximately 9,500 homes. Enviromena is a renewable energy developer that is headquartered in the UK, with solar farms already functional in Jordan, Dubai, Egypt, and Morocco.
