Enviromena acquired the 26 MWp Duxhurst Solar Farm from Luminous Energy Group near Reigate in Surrey, United Kingdom.
The project secured a Contract for Difference (CfD) in Allocation Round 6 and is projected to generate over 26,500 MWh of electricity each year. According to Luminous Energy, the solar farm is scheduled to become operational in the summer of 2027 and is expected to prevent more than 4,600 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Once completed, it will produce enough renewable electricity to meet the yearly power needs of approximately 9,800 homes across the UK.
Enviromena has recently expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of the Rock Farm and Steeraway solar projects in Shropshire, as well as the Longpasture project in County Durham, all of which were awarded Contracts for Difference (CfDs) during Allocation Round 6. In 2026, the company secured a total of £1 billion in funding through its financing platform, including an £825 million senior portfolio facility provided by a consortium of banks and a £175 million holding company (HoldCo) facility arranged with Eiffel Investment Group. This financing package is intended to support the development and deployment of Enviromena’s existing 1 GW solar project pipeline over the next five years.
