Enel has launched the sale process of its renewable energy assets in Brazil with an estimated combined capacity of 540 MW.

The assets include on one side 450 MW of solar parks and a 90 MW wind farm in the states of Bahia and Piau, Brazil.  Rothschild & Co has been tasked by Enel to find buyers for the offloaded assets.

The previous month, Enel made a big move in Brazil, acquiring a majority stake in power company Eletropaulo Metropolitana Eletricidade de Sao Paulo SA, paying about US$1.5 billion to become the nation's largest electricity distributor.
