The Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico (CAMMESA) of Argentina has granted authorization to the 300 MW Cauchari solar photovoltaic complex to deliver energy to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).
The solar complex consists of the Cauchari I, II, and III photovoltaic parks with 100 MW individual capacity. The 20-year power supply contract will energize up to 166,000 local homes.
The construction of the projects has been completed by the Shanghai Electric Power Construction (SEPC) in 2019.
