Argentinian energy developer and electric service company Central Puerto has started the operation of its 22.8 MW Los Olivos wind farm located in Achiras, Córdoba.
The facility consists of six Vestas V126/3450 wind turbines, each with 3.45 MW of power that is capable of generating up to 96 GWh per year.
The developer has sealed a deal with Swedish auto company Scania for the energy produced in the plant. Scania Argentina will be supplied with renewable energy for its factory located in the province of Tucumán.
