AES Argentina has commissioned the first ten turbines of the approximately 100 MW Vientos Neuquinos I wind project in Neuquen.
When fully operational, the facility will feature 29 turbines installed in 120-meter concrete towers.
The wind farm will operate under the purchase mechanism MATER, which allows large private consumers to negotiate and close contracts with renewable power generators.
