The assessed bid prices vary between NAD1.6 billion (USD83 million) and NAD3.5 billion (USD183 million). The Otjikoto biomass power plant aims to produce electricity by burning wood chips sourced from encroacher bushes to be harvested in the vicinity of the project site.
