UKA Group is planning to build a 120 MW wind project in Papenburg, Germany as part of the long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with global automaker Mercedes-Benz.
The project will feature up to 20 wind turbines that are expected to meet about 20% of the annual energy requirement of Mercedes-Benz in Germany. It is planned to include a solar photovoltaic system in the future.
The approval process of the project is expected to commence before the end of 2023 with the target construction to start in 2024. The project is planned for operation in 2026.
