Total Eren to build 100 MWp solar PV project at Rubiales oil field

Total Eren has been selected by Ecopetrol to develop, finance, build, and operate a 100 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Colombia.

The solar park will be constructed on the Ecopetrol Rubiales oil field in the town of Puerto Gaitan, in the province of Meta. It will be held 51% by Total Eren and 49% by Ecopetrol.

The PV farm is anticipated to commence operations in Q1 of 2024, with construction beginning in Q1 of 2023.
